^ On a rather wet Thursday afternoon visitors meet at the Museum before walking to the wildlife site


^ Everyone arrives at the wildlife site - Spring Close. This is the site of Burwell Castle. The area is now meadowland containing some very rare wild flowers and plants.
Spring Close is owned by Burwell Parish Council and is open to everyone all the time for free.


 
^ Looking around the spring. The spring water is very clean making the stream an ideal home for many different creatures and plants.
